The upgrading project of the cold core workshop of the foundry was completed on August 14, 2019,the core mixing sand production was fully automated. After the completion of this transformation, the production efficiency of core-making has been increased by two times compared with before which greatly reducing the labor intensity of employees in the cold core workshop, and playing a positive role in improving the quality of core-making and reducing material consumption.

In line with the principle of customization for customers, some products developed by our company have complex structures, which cannot be produced by resin coated sand core shooters, require the assistance of resin sand core making to meet the requirements of complex inner cavity structure. With the gradual development of the market in recent years, the demand for cold core manufacturing is increasing, and the original production capacity can not meet the production demand.

In order to solve this problem, and to leave a margin for the following market development and product upgrading ,we invested more than 100,000 RMB to purchase a new type of bowl sand mixer, and equipped with the corresponding bucket lift, sand storage equipment, to achieve sand adding, quantitative, liquid material addition, out of the grinding automation. After the new equipment is put into use, the amount of liquid material added is more reasonable, the mixing and distribution are more uniform, and the production efficiency is higher, which eliminates the casting defects caused by uneven mixing and excessive addition of liquid material, provides an effective guarantee for the company to undertake products with high difficulty and high added value.
